Spezza Rotto is an ferociously absurdist mix of rock, noise, 21st Century opera and dada concepts. All lyrics for the band have been translated into Italian via an on-line language translation program. Spezza Rotto is John Shiurba (guitar), Eli Crews (bass), Morgan Guberman (vocals), and myself. The band has been a fixture of the Rockland Music Series in Oakland and enjoyed a brief California Tour with Ruins (Japan) in 2001. In 2006 Spezza Rotto self-released the long awaited CD "Tredici Canzoni" This past year, Spezza Rotto decided to take an idefinite hiatus.
